Here is another challenge I'm interested in!! It is again lead by GIRLXOXO:

Monthly Motif Reading Challenge 2020

Rules from their website:


~ This is a monthly challenge that runs all year long from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020.
~ A Motif, or theme, is given for each month. Your task is to read 1 book that fits the motif for that month.
~ Post what you’ve read to social media using the hashtag #MonthlyMotifGXO.
~ Please link back to Girlxoxo, Tanya, or Kim any time you post about the challenge so that we can follow along with your progress!!
~ New This Year: A check in post will be published at the end of each month where you can see what we read for the challenge and comment with the book you chose and a link to your review.

Here is my book list for 2020:

JANUARY-Winter Wonderland - In a Sunburned Country by Bill Bryson
                      Focusing on ‘wonderland’, set in a truly wonderful place.

FEBRUARY- Seeing Red - The Line that Held Us by David Joy
                      Read a book with a red-ish cover.

MARCH-Sub-Genre Sound Off  - Glass Houses by Louise Penny
                     Choose a sub-genre of your favorite genre.

APRIL- Classics or Currents - The Nanny by Gilly MacMillan (9-2019)
                     Read a book published between April 2019 and April 2020.

MAY- Author Intro - Confession with Blue Horses by Sophie Hardach 
                    Read a book written by an author never read before.

JUNE- Name or Number - Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo (Fiction)
                    Read a book in which a number is part of the title. 

JULY- Around or Out of this World - The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty (AU Author)
                    Read a book written by an author from another country.

AUGUST- Creature Feature - The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman (YA-werewolf)
                    Read a book with a creature of some kind in the story.

SEPTEMBER- When Text Just Isn’t Enough - Wesley the Owl... by Stacey O'Brien (NF)
                    Read a book that includes more than just text - illustrations.

OCTOBER- Thrills and Chills - The Witch Elm: A Novel by Tana French (Thriller)
                   Mystery Thriller keeping you on the edge of your seat!

Read a book with a couple of characters that make the perfect pair whether in business or in love. (Ex. Sherlock & Watson, Elizabeth & Darcy)

DECEMBER- Sugar, Spice, Everything Nice - Finding Home by Tammy Grace (Romance)
                     Holiday or winter themed reads - romances - feel good read.
